| Name the world's hot spots from the past 20 years and Francis Okelo has been there. After a career with the United Nations, he has settled in New Milford. But, before that, he was the Secretary General's special envoy to Afghanistan and Pakistan in the 1990s and the special envoy to the Mideast peace process at the beginning of this century. And, in his spare time, he brokered the peace treaty in Ethiopia. Join us for an evening of intelligent discussion of international relations — especially the Mideast — and the United Nations and its role in the world. These hot spots are always in the news. Get the "inside scoop" on what is happening in the world from someone who has played a pivotal role in shaping world events. | |
