Anna Hendrickson & Kenneth Meyer

Oboist Anna Hendrickson, known for her soulful and accomplished playing, and guitarist Kenneth Meyer, whom the Washington Post hailed "a thinking man's guitarist [who] plays with impressive gravity and power" join forces as a chamber duo for an engaging evening of contemporary classical music. The program features Passages, a premiere by composer Gregory Mertl who has had a long-running connection with these two wonderful musicians. Mertl, who will be on hand to introduce his new piece,  has had the privilege of composing music for each of them separately, but this is the first time he brings them together as a duo. 

Anna and Ken have also chosen works to round out the program that complement the premiere.

All the musicians will be available to speak to after the concert.
