Merryall Presents: Songs of Protest
We’re celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence with an evening of American protest music. From the Revolutionary War to 2026, this music has been a vibrant part of our democracy. You’ll hear selections by Dylan, Chapman and Mitchell, to name a few. Performers include Missy Alexander, Caroline Bennett, Bob Brophy, Al Burgasser, Chuck Cundari, Nancy Janutolo, George Mallas, Susanna Marker, Felicia Michael, Nick Petrone, George Potts, and Nancy Walsh.
Nadine Strossen, Civil Liberties activist and past president of the ACLU, will provide introductory remarks.
