Comes to The Merryall Center!

The Merryall Center in New Milford, CT is now accepting submissions for Expressing Motherhood.

​

Expressing Motherhood is a stage show that showcases stories about, well, motherhood. Since 2018, moms (and dads) have been sharing their stories at Expressing Motherhood performances across the country. 

​

The show is built for the non-famous, non-published, and people who want to get out and express themselves. The average cast consists of ten people. Performers submit in advance and are chosen on the power of their stories. 

 

The Merryall Center’s performances of Expressing Motherhood will take place October 4th, at 5:30 pm, in New Milford, CT. All performers must attend one rehearsal on Saturday, September 27th, 10:00 am – 1:00 pm.

Compelled to share your story of motherhood? Submit your five-minute (that’s about 750 words) spoken word, monologue, skit, or song to Alice Schuette by email: ASchuette@merryallcenter.org Submission deadline is June 30, 2025.
