The world's most unlikely guitar hero, chanteuse, and comedienne performs as part of Merryall's Gay Pride Month Programming, in cooperation with Connecticut Gay Social Network. Who in the world is "Mrs Smith?!" Merryall Center for Performing Arts invites you to meet a lady like no other! Noted philanthropist, tone poet, and guitar virtuoso, MRS. SMITH brings her unique brand of musical comical performance art to East Milford for one night only. At Merryall, Mrs Smith  will sonically delve into the traumatic life events that have made her the woman she is today. From her Little House on the Prairie-style childhood to her kidnapping at the hands of a Norwegian Death Metal band, she will leave no stone unturned, no note unplayed, and the audience in stitches. Accolades for Mrs. Smith have been building up as of late: she was crowned winner of the "Shred for Your Life" contest at Webster Hall, performed to a sold-out audience at Joe's Pub in January, and a video of her ripping guitar on the sidewalks of NYC garnered 1.2 million views and cemented her as a legit guitar hero. She was also recently featured in a digital short for GUCCI. Featuring the music of ABBA, Prince,Taylor Swift, Jimi Hendrix, Judy Garland, and more. PRAISE for MRS SMITH “Off its Meds” —The Boston Globe “A demented Elaine Stritch” -Minneapolis City Pages “Oddly poignant” —The New York Times
